How can DAT Partners’ freight matching help my business?
DAT Partners offers posting and searching for both loads and trucks.

Post a Load, Search for Trucks. You can post (advertise) loads and then wait for calls, as well as search for an empty truck and call those carriers directly.

What is DAT Partners?
DAT Partners provides online access to the industry’s largest network of loads and trucks packaged with integrated business tools to help you make informed business decisions. Using TransCore’s DAT Partners your business will flourish with increased efficiency, an expanded customer network, and new business partners. Whether you’re searching for available loads or equipment, or advertising your excess loads and equipment, DAT Partners maintains the largest network of fresh, accurate data.

What is DAT Daily?
This database is our popular overnight list. You submit your postings to DAT Daily by 9 PM Eastern time (6 PM Pacific) and the lists to which you subscribe are waiting for you when you arrive the next morning. Post to the DAT Daily for needs you know about the day before.

When you post to the DAT Daily you also get Custom Match™, a list of your own DAT Daily postings entered the day before matched with the current day’s DAT Daily postings from other subscribers. This report shows the loads or trucks that match your requirements in a 150-mile radius of your origin for of each of your postings.

What is DAT Live?
This database is real-time posting when you need information right now. Thousands of customers, like you, monitor DAT Live throughout the day for the fastest freight matching results possible. Postings are added and removed throughout the day, with many gone in minutes. If you posted to the DAT Daily and you have not had a response by mid-morning, repost that need on DAT Live.

How can I get DAT Partners?
The easiest way is to download it FREE from our web site and call Tech Support if you need help installing it. But if you are still using a dial-up connection to the Internet, you may want to call and request a CD. Your current subscription will work for the new version.

What is the Customer Directory?
The Customer Directory provides a variety of views into any company you find as the result of a search for a load or truck. These views include TransCore-provided information, a profile provided by the company itself, and when available, broker credit info, carrier authority, insurance and trade association information. The goal is to provide you with the supporting information to make better decisions in your fast-changing business environment.

The Customer Directory is designed to show you everything we know about any company you find as a search result. The company name is the link directly to it. There are currently 6 views on that company with data on each tab from a different source.

Company Tab — data comes from TransCore’s customer records. If there is an error, contact TransCore. MC numbers are directly from DOT records.
Profile Tab — this is customer-supplied. Edit your own Profile so potential customers can see who you are. It is free marketing for your company.
Credit & Finance Tab — information on load posters provided by TransCredit. Order credit reports online for an additional charge.
Insurance & Authority Tab — up-to-date carrier insurance info from RMIS. Insurance detail is available and the Preferred rating appears on truck search results if you subscribe to Customer Directory Pro.
Associations Tab — links to Transportation Intermediaries Association and their P3 best practices group for companies who are members.
Safety Tab – provides access to critical safety information.

How do I access the Customer Directory?
You can access the information in one of two ways. The first is through the links provided on search results. There will be some basic information displayed on each result that gives you an indicator about the reliability of a given company. Once you take the lead, you will be able to access more detailed information. The second way is to go to the DAT Partners Home Page and select the Search Directory link. This will allow you to look for particular companies that may or may not have trucks or equipment posted at a given point in time.

My company isn’t listed in the Customer Directory?
Every company that uses TransCore’s freight matching services will be included in the Customer Directory and you have the opportunity to provide your own profile about your business. The key to keeping information about your company accurate and up to date is to take an active role by providing us with correct information about you.

Are there additional products and services integrated with DAT Partners?
The latest version of DAT Partners includes a Tools page within the DAT Partners Desktop freight matching application to provide easy access to:

Rate Index® - The DAT Partners Rate Index is a tool that can assist you in selecting a suitable rate for moving freight in any land. Information is available from point-to-point locations in the United States. Rate data is based on information supplied by a selection of established carriers.
LaneMakers® - LaneMakers looks at TransCore DAT historical information to answer the question, “WHO is working a specific lane?” Use it to see who the biggest players are in a lane and to assess load and truck ratios to locate opportunities. Search by Equipment Type, Origin, and Destination. Look back 30, 60, or 90 days, or for the same month last year. The list is ranked by WHO posted the most and shows their company type and specific Equipment Types posted.
HotStates™ - HotStates shows which states have the highest ratios of loads to trucks, shows WHERE the action is. A higher number means lots of loads searching for just a few trucks.
RMIS Insurance provides all risk, broad form coverage for Brokers to purchase additional cargo insurance when the value of a load exceeds the carrier’s primary cargo limit.
Riviera Factoring - Factoring is a way for carriers to improve their cash flow. The latest version of DAT Partners Desktop shows a Riviera Green Light icon on loads posted by factorable brokers. Click on the Green Light button for more details. Even if you don’t factor, the Green Light will indicate brokers with higher credit ratings.
Intermodal Carriers - In this time of tight truck capacity, these services offer profitable alternatives to moving van loads during the current truck capacity shortage. Get quotes online and through the Tools page in DAT Partners Desktop. Intermodal is most competitive on hauls exceeding 500 miles
